Magazine CasaShopping no. 47 – “A expansão está chegando” (spring 2013)
CasaShopping’s magazine reports that the expansion works had entered their final phase and that assembly of the Onda Carioca, the main architectural icon of the expansion, was about to begin. The project is by architect Nir Sivan, who developed in his studio in Rome a design combining technology with Carioca elements such as beach sand and Portuguese pavement; the first structures were pre-assembled in Europe under his personal supervision.
