For Azrieli Group’s most iconic and ambitious development in Tel Aviv, Nir Sivan Architects was selected, in collaboration with LANIK, to lead the development of the four sculptural skyview gridshells that crown the shopping center and the adjacent tower.
Originally designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) in partnership with Moshe Tzur Architects, the project represents a new architectural milestone for the city’s skyline. Our role is to translate and further develop the original design intentions of these complex, high-performance canopies—ensuring they retain their visual impact and conceptual integrity through all phases of engineering, fabrication, and installation.
Through a close integration between design vision and technical execution, Nir Sivan Architects is coordinating the transition from conceptual sketches to built reality. Partnering with LANIK, a leader in advanced structural fabrication, we are ensuring that the gridshells maintain a seamless connection between form, function, and feasibility.
From geometry optimization to material selection and on-site supervision, our approach guarantees that the architectural ambition is carried through without compromise, with continuous design verification and site involvement guiding the project from virtual model to physical realization.
This collaboration underscores our studio’s strength in bridging visionary design with buildable innovation, and in contributing to one of Tel Aviv’s most defining contemporary landmarks.
